Help with BaZi BFire

Find answers about charts, local records, subscriptions, permissions, reports, and contacting support.

Create and review a chart

Open the Chart tab, select the solar calendar, lunar calendar, or direct Four Pillars entry, then confirm the birth time, place, time zone, and optional true solar-time setting. Calculation results depend on the accuracy of this information.

Records and backup

Saved charts and notes remain in the app's local storage on your device. Use the backup export and import controls in Settings when moving data. Keep exported files in a secure location because they may contain personal information.

Membership and purchases

Monthly and annual memberships are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Open Settings, choose a membership plan, and confirm the purchase with your Apple Account. If an existing entitlement is not shown, tap Restore Purchases or Check Subscription while connected to the internet.

Subscription offer codes

Use Redeem Subscription Offer Code in Settings to open Apple's redemption sheet. After a successful redemption, return to BaZi BFire and tap Check Subscription if the membership status does not refresh immediately.

Compass and location

The compass can use location while the app is in use to improve true-north orientation. If permission is not granted, magnetic north remains available. You can change permission later in iOS Settings. Live location is not stored in chart records or uploaded by the app.

Report images and Photos

Saving a report image requests add-only Photos access. BaZi BFire writes the selected image but does not read your photo library. You may also copy a text report and choose where to share it.
